Head Waiter
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Waiter to join our catering team specializing in special events such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate gatherings. Under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager, the Maître d’ will be responsible for overseeing dining room service and ensuring an exceptional guest experience during these unique occasions
Responsibilities
Supervise dining room service during special events, including weddings, birthdays, and corporate meetings.
Ensure service and presentation standards are upheld at all times to create an elegant and memorable atmosphere.
Train and mentor dining room staff to deliver quality service and optimal guest satisfaction, with a strong focus on special events.
Work closely with event organizers to understand their needs and ensure smooth coordination between dining service and other aspects of the event.
Handle guest concerns and manage delicate situations with professionalism and courtesy to guarantee guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards, especially during events.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Maître d’ or in a similar position within an establishment specializing in special events.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic and demanding environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and provide training and guidance tailored to special events.
Positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to handle stressful situations with calm and courtesy.
In-depth knowledge of dining service protocols and etiquette specific to special occasions.
